We love Palm Springs and Hollywood does too

The New York Times featured this destination in the article The Desert in Demand: “Mr. DiCaprio’s presence jibes with something of a Palm Springs renaissance. According to a recent article in The Hollywood Reporter, Anne Hathaway is rumored to be house hunting there, and Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes were recently seen furniture shopping in the Uptown Design District.”

It is true, for much of the 20th century, Palm Springs was the hip hangout for many of Hollywood’s A-Listers, including Frank Sinatra, Marilyn Monroe, Sammy Davis Jr., and Elizabeth Taylor. Palm Springs’ ruggedly beautiful desert terrain, year-round sunny weather, and the quiet seclusion of the Coachella Valley offered a convenient escape from the hustle and bustle of Tinseltown.

Over the years, championship golf courses were built, top class restaurants opened, and a unique arts scene flourished, helping Palm Springs evolve into a fantastic vacation destination for just about anyone.
