The incredible Marieta Islands

There’s no shortage of stunning sights in Puerto Vallarta, but the Marietas Islands just may stand above everything else. Crystal clear aquamarine waters surround these small volcanic islands that captivated famed oceanographer Jacques Cousteau with its diversity of bird and marine wildlife.

In addition to all the fauna, the Marietas Islands also boast one of the most unique sites in Mexico. The archipelago is home to Playa del Amor, more commonly known as Hidden Beach, a secluded shore located within an island that can only be accessed by swimming through a 40 foot tunnel.

You can see all of the wonders of this magical place by booking Vallarta Adventures’ Marietas Islands tour through Xplora Puerto Vallarta! This guided excursion takes you from Puerto Vallarta to the islands, where you’ll go snorkeling, kayaking, or paddle boarding.

During the tour, you’ll enjoy a continental breakfast, deli-style lunch, and your choice of drinks from an on-board open bar. All the while, you’ll be entertained by a friendly and knowledgeable crew that will educate you on the wildlife and history of the islands.
