Free Fun at Club Regina Puerto Vallarta

Puerto Vallarta is a gorgeous beachside town full of wonderful sites and plenty of fun things to do. Deep sea fishing, scuba diving, zip lining, and fine dining are just a few of the plethora of activities in Puerto Vallarta.

If you’re staying at our lovely resort, Club Regina Puerto Vallarta, you’ll be within minutes of all of these great activities. Yet you may be surprised to know there’s plenty of fun to be had at the resort. Check out the activities below to see a few of the ways you can have a great time at our resort.

  • Kayaking

If you’ve ever been kayaking before, then you know it’s as much of a workout as it is a neat way to spend some time at the beach. Instead of hunting around for a place that offers kayaks, you can borrow one at Club Regina Puerto Vallarta for free! Once you get your kayak, you’ll be able to paddle along the shore until you reach the last resort in the marina. To reserve a kayak*, dial ext. 5321 between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. or go to the activities palapa near the large swimming pool. Kayaks are available for 45 minutes starting at 9:15, 10:15, and 11:15 a.m. every day.

*You must be at least 15 years old to borrow a kayak.

  • Yoga

A refreshing warm ocean breeze brushes your skin as the early morning sun casts a light orange glow across a quiet beach. Yet you can’t fully appreciate this scene because you’re balancing on one foot with your arms extended directly in the air – a pose that isn’t as easy as it looks. Although it’s hard work, there’s something to be said for starting your day with the meditative practice of yoga. Club Regina Puerto Vallarta offers yoga classes at 10 a.m. every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday that are perfect for beginners, so don’t be shy if you’ve never tried it before. To participate in this free class, all you need to do is show up at Patio Los Arcos near Inizio before the class starts.

  • Blender Bike

For the uninitiated, a blender bike is exactly what it sounds like – a blender powered by a stationary bicycle. During your stay at Club Regina Puerto Vallarta, you can pedal through history on your way to a delicious beverage on the resort’s very own blender bike located near the activities palapa. This is actually part of a group activity in which many of your new friends will cheer you on as you prepare one of their drinks (or your own, of course). If you want to give it a shot, check out the resort’s activities calendar to see when the next blender bike event will take place.

  • Tequila Tasting

Tequila may be best known as that strong stuff that goes in your shot glass, but that belies the many complex flavors offered by this traditional liquor. If you’re in the mood for some education, we suggest you visit the resort’s free tequila tasting held at the activities palapa. At the 30-minute tasting, you’ll learn the best way to drink tequila (hint: slowly), as well as the difference between the three main types of tequila: blanco, reposado, and anejo. At the end, you may have the chance to sample tequilas flavored with chocolate, coffee, peach, and more.

Does this sound delicious? The resort’s activities program will announce when this event is taking place each week.

Where to Stay:

Club Regina Puerto Vallarta is located between the Sierra Madre Mountains and Banderas Bay. It is within walking distance of the marina. Its beaches and rich biodiversity draw tourists from around the globe. On the mountain side, you can experience adventures like Canopy and ATV tours. The Malecon, one of the most popular locations for tourists, is a flourishing art scene on the south side of Vallarta that is home to art galleries, restaurants and bars. Explore Puerto Vallarta and create lasting memories.
